Preaching the Gospel and Feeding the Flock

compiled by Dave Harris

Our annual Church Conference was conducted via SKYPE on July 18-19, 2021. All our ministers participated along with several of our deacons and deaconesses.  Several important topics were discussed which focused on more successfully conducting the Work of the Church.

Why the Devastating Floods in Europe?” is the title of a new StandingWatch program, presented by Evangelist Norbert Link. Here is a summary:

CBS wrote on July 16 that “the scale of the disaster is unlike anything the area has seen in living memory—the worst deluge recorded in the region in more than 200 years…” Newsmax added on July 21 that thousands are still missing who are most likely dead. But why do disasters like these happen? Is it because of man-made global warming, or is the real cause overlooked? And once the cause is identified, do people respond and react in the right way?

“Hat Noah den Kanaan für Hams Sünde verflucht?” is the title of this Sabbath’s new German sermon, presented by Norbert Link. Title in English: “Did Noah Curse Canaan for Ham’s Sin?”

“Wahrer Reichtum,” is the title of a split sermon presented last Sabbath in Germany by Thilo Hanstein. Title in English: “Real Wealth.”

“Selbstgerecht,” is the title of a split sermon presented last Sabbath in Germany by Christoph Sperzel. Title in English: “Self Righteous.”

“A Two Front War,” is the title of a split sermon presented last Sabbath by Frank Bruno. Here is a summary:

Increasingly, each day we are barraged directly by Satan’s temptations and challenged by carnal nature which leaves us more susceptible to sin. We also face the work of men and women who confront us with issues and choices which require our discernment and reliance on God for guidance. This can be overwhelming. In this message, we will explore Scriptures that can help us to understand what we are facing, and act as God wants us to.

“Why Watch?” is the title of a split sermon presented last Sabbath by Eric Rank. Here is a summary:

The Bible contains numerous admonitions to watch and pay attention to the world we live in. What are we to watch for, and why is it important to heed these instructions?

We will observe the Feast of Tabernacles and Last Great Day for 2021, in Rapid City, South Dakota, and near Düsseldorf, Germany.  If you would like more information, check out our websites: https://www.eternalgod.org/feasts/  ; https://www.ewigengottes.de/wir-uber-uns/laubhuttenfest-2021/
