We are very sad to announce the death of long-time member and deacon, Bill Grams, on December 1, 2018. His wife, Nancy Grams, thanks everyone for their prayers during this difficult time.

“George H.W. Bush and the German Reunification” is the title of the new StandingWatch program, presented by Evangelist Norbert Link. Here is a summary:

The late American President George H.W. Bush has been described as a gentleman, a generous and true American patriot and a “stroke of luck” for the Germans. From a prophetic standpoint, his most important accomplishment was his contribution to the German reunification. This program describes the events in 1989, when the Berlin Wall fell, and points out the close friendship between President Bush and German Chancellor Helmut Kohl. But neither Bush nor Kohl anticipated what would subsequently transpire; nor, what is still prophesied to happen in the future.

A German AufPostenStehen program, covering the same topic, was also published. Title in German: “George H.W. Bush, Helmut Kohl und die deutsche Wiedervereinigung“  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_q-sOZGFF0

Our monthly Tech Team meeting was held on Sunday, December 2, 2018, via SKYPE. Hosted by Eric Rank, updating our web host, review of hacking attempts, video production and factors relating to our web page were covered.

“Was uns der Prophet Samuel lehrt!” is the title of this Sabbath’s new German sermon, presented by Norbert Link. Title in English: “What the Prophet Samuel Teaches Us.”

Comments on News and Prophecy (December 1, 2018),” the message presented last Sabbath by Norbert Link, is now posted. Here is a summary:

In this edition, we are addressing new developments in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict; the G-20 summit and President Trump’s cancellation of a press conference because of respect for the death of George H.W. Bush and his refusal to meet with Vladimir Putin and Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Salman; the military collaboration of Germany and France because of Brexit; Germany’s public support for increase in defense spending; different viewpoints of Americans and Germans in regard to the US-German friendship; the economic consequences of a border closure between the US and Mexico; the many recent earthquakes in Alaska; and the reasons as to why a prominent writer left the Catholic Church.

“Let Us Be Clean and Holy!” the sermon presented last Sabbath by Norbert Link, is now posted. Here is a summary:

As members of the spiritual Body of Christ we must be clean and holy, and we may think many times that we are, but may deceive ourselves. We must recognize our uncleanness and eradicate it with God’s help.

How Will the New Russian-Ukrainian Conflict Be ‘Solved’?” is the title of the new StandingWatch program, presented by Evangelist Norbert Link. Here is a summary:

The Russian blockade of the Azov Sea and the capture of three Ukrainian ships and sailors caused the USA and the EU to condemn Russia for violating international law, but Russia denies this and couldn’t care less. Even though Ukraine is asking NATO and the EU, including Germany, for further economic sanctions and military intervention, this does not seem to be likely. What, then, is going to happen? History from World War II and the Bible give us answers.

A German AufPostenStehen program, covering the same topic, was also published. Title in German: Wie der neue Konflikt der Ukraine mit Russland ‘gelöst’ wird!”

“What the BIBLE Says on the Brexit Debacle,” is the title of a recent StandingWatch program, presented by Evangelist Norbert Link. Here is a summary:

Much has been reported on present and future Brexit negotiations, the real or possible adoption of legally binding or not-binding deals, and further developments and potential outcomes. This can be confusing at times. This program will bring clarity and tell you what the Bible prophesies regarding the EU and Great Britain.

Warum Christus bald zurückkommt!” is the title of this Sabbath’s new German sermon, presented by Norbert Link. In English: “Why Christ Will Come Back Soon!”

Comments on News and Prophecy (November 24, 2018),” the first message presented last Sabbath by Norbert Link, is now posted. Here is a summary:

In this edition, we are addressing Europe’s desire for creating a powerful army and core Europe’s last revival of the ancient Roman Empire; the ongoing Brexit debacle with no good solutions for the UK; the future of Gibraltar; the false alternative Temple Theory and Israel’s desire of building a massive third temple on the Temple Mount; the non-exiting German-Israeli Friendship and Europe’s growing anti-Semitism; the Church of God’s debt of gratitude towards the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals; the European arms embargo on Saudi Arabia; and the curse of rising nationalism.

“True Christian Humility,” the sermon presented last Sabbath by Kalon Mitchell, is now posted. Here is a summary:

The Bible enjoins us all to be humble and have the attitude of being as such. But why? Why is it important? What does Christian humility look like? Are there any other parts that go along with being humble? We will look into these questions and discover the important answers.

“Kommt Christus wirklich bald zurück?” is the title of this Sabbath’s new German sermon, presented by Norbert Link. Title in English: “Does Christ Really Come Back Soon?”

“Finding our Way Through Faith,” the sermonette presented last Sabbath by Frank Bruno, is now posted. Here is a summary:

In our daily lives we encounter various forms of technology mapping and signage that attempt to point the way. The intent is to assist in our not getting lost, or, to help us find our way once we are lost. There is even a sub-specialty in the architecture and design world dealing with the challenges of Way-Finding. Places such as Hospitals, Airports, Cities, universities, and even Zoos, all rely on clever strategies to set destinations apart—we don’t want to get lost! There are even simple steps we can take in the midst of a wilderness to determine the correct pathway. What about our spiritual path? Are we secure that we are not slowly becoming off-track and lost in our lives?  Can we even recognize the signs? This Sermonette—Finding our Way Through Faith, is intended to offer several key scriptural citations upon which we may rely to connect or reconnect with God. As is the case in our physical lives, our confidence grows when we know we are heading in the right direction.

“Paul’s Final Instructions,” the sermon presented last Sabbath by Robb Harris, is now posted. Here is a summary:

The epistles written to Timothy and Titus at the end of Paul’s life serve as a hands-on instruction in Christianity.  These three books, often referred to as the “Pastoral Epistles”, expressed the love and care Paul had for the church, even as his life waned.  Their practical approach can serve us today as we each walk that narrow path towards salvation

“Coming—A European Empire with a Real Army,” is the title of a new StandingWatch program, presented by Evangelist Norbert Link. Here is a summary:

French President Emmanuel Macron speaks of the rise of the “ancient demons” of “nationalism” causing World War I and advocates the creation of a “real European army” to “defend against” the USA. The EU Commission, German Chancellor Angela Merkel (CDU) and the leader of her coalition party, the SPD, want a real European army to form a “counterbalance” to President Trump. Others want to turn Europe into a powerful empire under German-French leadership to “stand in the way of Donald Trump’s administration.” Bible prophecy is being fulfilled for sure.

A new Member Letter (November 2018) will be posted. Pastor Rene Messier writes with a profound sense of urgency that Christians must not turn away from God but draw ever closer to Him.

“Der Abfall von der Wahrheit… einst, heute und sehr bald!” is the title of this Sabbath’s new German sermon, presented by Norbert Link. Title in English: “The Falling Away From the Truth–Then, Now and Very Soon.”

“Waiting for the Kingdom of God,” the sermonette presented last Sabbath by Dave Harris, is now posted. Here is a summary:

What does it mean to wait for the Kingdom of God, and how should we apply that as Christians—both now and regarding the future?

“The Truth Is What Matters,” the sermon presented last Sabbath by Eric Rank, is now posted. Here is a summary:

The trouble with being human is that we are naturally affected by a barrage of information that so easily distracts us from making good, godly judgment in life. What can we do to filter out the noise, and tune into the signal of the Truth of God?

“Frightening Results and Consequences of Midterm Elections” is the title of a new StandingWatch program, presented by Evangelist Norbert Link.

Here is a summary:

With the Democrats controlling the House and the Republicans the Senate, legislative gridlock is the inevitable consequence. This division is mirrored by the mood in the country. Europeans are very concerned as to what President Trump will do, expecting him to focus mainly on foreign politics for which he does not need congressional approval. And so, Europe is reacting militarily. All of this is in fulfillment of biblical prophecy, as this program will show.

“Bedrohliche Konsequenzen der amerikanischen Zwischenwahlen” is the title of a new AufPostenStehen program, presented by Norbert Link. This covers the same topic as the English version described above.

Our monthly Tech Team meeting was conducted on November 4, 2018, via SKYPE. Hosted by Eric Rank, a review of upcoming tasks; status of our broadcast quality; and adjustments to our homepage were discussed.

“Wann (und wann nicht) sollten wir um Gottes Eingreifen beten?” is the title of this Sabbath’s new German sermon, presented by Norbert Link. Title in English: “When (and When Not) Should We Pray for God’s Intervention?”

“Our Compulsion for Outrage,” the sermonette presented last Sabbath by Robb Harris, is now posted. Here is a summary:

The Church is susceptible to outrage just as the world is. A key to fight this attitude has been given to us through God’s spirit and the understanding of who our adversary is. Without God’s Spirit guiding us we are blind and easily drawn away from our goal of redemption.

“Finding the Place of Safety,” the sermon presented last Sabbath by Dave Harris, is now posted. Here is a summary:

Will God protect you in the times of trouble which the Bible describes as the end of this age? Will you be counted worthy? What should you be doing in preparation?

A new Member Letter (October 2018) has been written and mailed. Robb Harris presents a review of reports from the Feast of Tabernacles and Last Great Day in both the US and Germany and notes that this year’s observance was indeed a time of rejoicing by the brethren.

“The TRUE FACTS about America’s Birthright Citizenship,” is the title of a new StandingWatch program, presented by Evangelist Norbert Link. Here is a summary:

Much has been written and said about the idea of ending America’s birthright citizenship, and both the law and reality have been misrepresented and misconstrued by the media. What DOES the Constitution say, and HOW did the US Supreme Court understand the 14th Amendment, dealing with birthright citizenship? Could it be revoked via executive order or Congress? Is it even perceivable that it could end through federal legislation or a constitutional amendment? And even if that were possible, what might the consequences be? Issues like these continue to divide the nation, and the ensuing emotional upheaval results in more and more verbal and violent confrontations and actions. The Bible shows us what the terrible and frightening outcome will be.

“Warnt Gott den Sünder vor Unglück und Tod?” is the title of this Sabbath’s German sermon, presented by Norbert Link. Title in English: “Does God Warn the Sinner of Calamity and Death?”

“Ready at ALL Times,” the sermonette presented last Sabbath by Michael Link, is now posted. Here is a summary:

How are we supposed to prepare at all times? How are we to live our days and how important is prayer? What should we pray for? Are we ready if Christ were to come back tomorrow? Are we worthy enough? Is God our first priority and can we trust Him to take care of ANY situation that we are faced with? Do we truly understand how important God is in our lives and if we shut Him out, what would the consequences be?

“Resist the Devil!” the sermon presented last Sabbath by Norbert Link, is now posted. Here is a summary:

Satan rules mankind, but most don’t know about it. And very few understand that Satan’s great wrath and his desire to destroy are directed foremost against God’s people–the true followers of Jesus Christ. We must be aware of the temptations, deceptions and wiles of the devil and of his human instruments, so that we can withstand, conquer and defeat them with God’s help.

Not, if you consider its origin and the fact that today’s Halloween is THE most important RELIGIOUS feast for Satanists and witches. Do you really want your children to observe this festival together with worshippers of Satan? This program should open your eyes.

“Ist denn Halloween nicht nur ein harmloser Spaß?” is a new AufPostenStehen program which is in German and covers the same topic as described above and which is also presented by Norbert Link.

“Dem Teufel Widerstehen!” is the title of this Sabbath’s German sermon, presented by Norbert Link. Title in English: “Resist the Devil.”

“What God Has Done For Me!” the sermonette presented last Sabbath by Kalon Mitchell, is now posted. Here is a summary:

We are each called, specially and uniquely. We each are given amazing opportunities in this life. We are each forgiven of our sins, upon repentance and it is an incredible thing that we each should dwell upon. Where would we be without God’s mercy, His loving kindness, His great foresight and His master plan? Really the question ends up, what HASN’T God done for me?

“Can Biblical Fasting Really Help?” the sermon presented last Sabbath by Norbert Link, is now posted. Here is a summary:

The Bible commands us to fast on occasion. But why? And how can we make sure that God accepts our fasting and that He does not reject it as useless? How can we distinguish between correct and wrong fasting? And what could be the result of proper fasting in our lives and the lives of others?

New German Leadership Coming—Merkel’s Days Are Numbered,” is the title of a new StandingWatch program, presented by Evangelist Norbert Link. Here is a summary:

The debacle in the German state election in Bavaria has once again shown that Angela Merkel’s great coalition will end soon and that Merkel’s chancellorship is coming to an end as well. But what then? Will a new leadership bring peace and harmony to the current German chaos? Or will it only get worse?

“Neue deutsche Regierung kommt—Merkels Tage sind gezählt!” is the title of a new AufPostenStehen program, presented by Norbert Link. This covers the same topic as the English version described above. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mpfEP-jRew4&feature=youtu.be

“The Spirit of God, of Angels, of Man and of Animals,” the sermon presented last Sabbath by Norbert Link, is now posted. Here is a summary:

The Bible teaches the existence of a human spirit, a spirit in animals, created spirit beings such as angels and those who became demons, and the Holy Spirit of God. Most do not understand much about this. This sermon will explain the differences and point out Scriptures which are rendered ambiguously in some translations.

“How’s Your Ego?” the sermonette presented last Sabbath by Kalon Mitchell, is now posted.

“This Generation Will Not Pass Away,” the sermon presented last Sabbath by Norbert Link, is now posted. Here is a summary:

Jesus Christ listed many terrible events which will occur prior to His return, and added that “this generation” would not pass away until all these things take place. What is meant with “this generation”? Did Christ refer to mankind in general; the survival of the people of Israel; the generation at the time of Christ; or the end-time generation? This sermon will cite many biblical passages, which are being used in support of the above-stated concepts in light of the Greek word for “generation.” But which explanation is correct?

“Gideon’s Faith,” the sermonette presented in the morning service of the Feast of Trumpets by Eric Rank, is now posted. Here is a summary:

The story of Gideon gives us an inspiring example of the power of faith. As it was able to strengthen him and a small army to drive away enemies without lifting a weapon, faith provides us with the means to conquer our trials, great and small.

“The Sound of the Trumpet,” the sermon presented in the morning service of the Feast of Trumpets by Dave Harris, is now posted. Here is a summary:

While it might seem that the Bible doesn’t say a lot about this Feast, let’s remember a key word that is given—that is that this day is a MEMORIAL This is about more than the past—this Feast of Trumpets is also to remind us of future events!

“Not For Granted,” the Offertory presented in the afternoon service of the Feast of Trumpets by Michael Link, is now posted. Here is a summary:

Are we thankful for the blessings that God has given us or do we take them for granted? What about the trials that we go through? Is that something we should be thankful for? Are we thankful for the knowledge that God has granted us to understand the Bible and how we are to prepare ourselves for soon coming disaster?

“Freedom from Captivity,” the sermon presented in the afternoon service of the Feast of Trumpets by Norbert Link, is now posted. Here is a summary:
