The Watchers
Dave Harris | May 6, 2006
Events of our future are already looming darkly on our horizon. Can we see, that is, are we watching for, what is ahead through the prophecies of God’s word? Who is ready for what is coming upon our world? Jesus Christ warns us of our time–the prophesied end of this age, and He explicitly and with all gravity tell us to watch and to be ready!
The Keys to Successful Prayers
Norbert Link | April 29, 2006
prayer. We are told to pray to God the Father, but many in this world don’t pray
at all. It may be because of indifference or because they don’t know why they
should pray; what to pray for; how to pray; or when to pray. What about us in
the Church? Do we pray by following a strict regiment? Do we pray the same
prayer over and over again, thinking that we will be heard because of our many
words? Do we only pray at certain times? How can we be sure that our prayers are
heard on high?
All Knowledge
Dave Harris | April 22, 2006
In our calling, we must choose the kind of knowledge we will have. Our challenge is to walk in the light of truth and not walk in darkness of evil. We are called upon to practice the truth in order to come to the light. Furthermore, the Church of God is to present the truth of God just as Jesus Christ did.
Is Overcoming a Priority For You?
Edwin Pope | April 19, 2006
God’s people today are a people called to overcome sin in their
lives! If one succeeds in this calling, God will give to him the gift
of eternal life as a member in the Family of God!One does not earn eternal life through this process of overcoming.
What one does earn should he fail in this endeavor to which he is
called, is what the Scripture refers to as the second death – eternal
death! This must never be our personal choice relative to our calling.
However, if we are successful in our calling through the power of God’s
Holy Spirit, God will give to us the gift of eternal life!Another very important thing one is able to earn, should he be
successful in His calling of God during this lifetime, is a position of
rulership in the coming Kingdom of God!

The First Day
Dave Harris | April 13, 2006
A very important aspect of keeping God’s commanded Holy Days is to understand the meaning behind them. They outline the great master plan of God, and we find in them the message of our salvation and the promise of eternal life in the Kingdom of God. For Christians, the observance of this first day of the seven day Feast of Unleavened Bread pictures our deliverance out of the spiritual slavery of sin.
Self Examination
Rene Messier (Canada) | April 13, 2006
The process of self examination is not a static but rather continuous process realigning our thinking and actions to the mind of Christ as we follow his example as laid out in scripture and His personal example in the gospels, using the fruit of the Spirit as the criteria.
As We Examine Ourselves
Edwin Pope | April 8, 2006
We are approaching the time for two of God’s annual festivals: The Passover and The Days of Unleavened Bread. As with the weekly Sabbath, there is a time established for preparation of these two festivals. And we must prepare, physically and spiritually, for each of these two.
The Passover is observed in the evening of the 14th day of the first month, which according to God’s calendar is Nisan or Abib. Passover is a one day festival. The festival God refers to as The Days of Unleavened Bread is a seven day festival, which begins at sunset as the 15th day of the first month (Nisan or Abib) begins. Each of these two festivals is significant in God’s overall Plan.
God requires as a part of the spiritual preparation for Passover that we “examine ourselves.” His concern has to do with our overall attitude in taking the Passover that we not eat of it in an “unworthy” manner. The command then is that we “examine ourselves” and that we “eat” the Passover.

Eternal Death
Dave Harris | March 25, 2006
Mankind has a choice to make. That choice will lead to either eternal life or eternal death. The awful reality is that some both have and will choose to disobey God and bring upon themselves destruction in the lake of fire. We need to understand the kind of choice we are making!
God's Kingdom and His Righteousness
Edwin Pope | March 18, 2006
Jesus Christ, while teaching His disciples principles by which they were to live instructed them that any who would follow Him should seek first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness.
Why did Christ say this? Why is it critical for one to seek after these two things? And how is one to accomplish this requirement?

Fruits
Rene Messier (Canada) | March 11, 2006
Developing the fruit of the Spirit is vital to our continued growth as Christians. Its manifestation is the proof that God is working in our lives. The tools used to grow in the Spirit are Prayer, Bible Study, Mediation and occasional Fasting. These are MUSTS and must not be neglected for our continued walk as Christians and our development of our crucial ongoing relationship with God and Christ.
Why Not Heaven — Part 1
Norbert Link | March 4, 2006
Will we go to heaven when we die? Most professing Christians hope that they do, because they don’t like what they think might be the “alternative”–that is, going to an “ever-burning hell.” But does the Bible tell us that we will go to heaven? What happens when we die? Why does the Bible speak of a resurrection from the dead? And what happens after the resurrection? Most know that the Bible teaches a “Millennium” or a thousand-year rule. But when and where is this going to take place? Will we be ruling in heaven, as some teach? If you know the answers to these questions, would you be able to prove the truth from Scripture? Where in the Bible do we find the answers?

Perfect Love
Dave Harris | February 25, 2006
The Bible speaks of love in many ways–it even mentions “perfect love” and of us being “made perfect in love.”
However, Jesus warned that the love of many will grow cold among those living at the close of this age. This sermon considers the perfect love we should have toward our Father and Jesus Christ; toward our brethren; toward our neighbors in this world; and, the love we are to have for ourselves.
The Key to Faithfulness
Edwin Pope | February 18, 2006
Those who will enter the Kingdom of God will have been “Called, Chosen, and Faithful.” Yet many people who are Called of God fail in their Calling because they overlook one of the most critical “Keys” to remaining faithful to God’s Way! This vital “Key” is found in numerous scriptures throughout the Bible. The Bible reveals examples of many faithful who utilized this vital “Key” in their lives, as well as others who failed because they ignored this vital “Key.” This Sermon examines a number of these very significant examples.

Attitude
Norbert Link | February 11, 2006
A negative reaction to correction is indicative of a wrong attitude. With wrong attitudes, serious problems are guaranteed to occur in our lives. We must avoid to develop an attitude of anger, resentment and hostility. Otherwise, we will begin to hate those who are righteous, and numerous grievous sins will follow. When people leave God and His Church, it is always because of attitude problems–and in most cases, because of a rejection of godly authority. The choice is ours–but the prize which God offers us is too valuable to loose just because of a bad attitude.
The Bride
Dave Harris | February 4, 2006
We are among the first of those who have been called into the Church of God–to be the bride of Jesus Christ–to become helpers “comparable to[H]im”–to become united in a permanent relationship within the Family of God! The extraordinary future that we are to have with Jesus Christ involves marriage on the spiritual plane, transcending the physical parallel, because this union will last forever!
Why the Church – Part 2
Edwin Pope | January 28, 2006
Jesus Christ established the Church of God while He was on the earth. He was very specific as to the name by which the Church would be identified. A specific message was given to the Church which it was commissioned to carry to the world; a specific gospel it was to preach. Specific laws were established whereby those called to have a part in God’s Church were to live. There is a specific reward those who are faithful in their calling are to receive. Are you faithful in your calling to this Way?
