In the Beginning – Part 1
Norbert Link | June 10, 2006
Correctly understood, only the Bible tells us how it all
began; why we live today in a world cut off from God; and what is going to
happen in the future. In order to find the answers to these questions, we must
go back to the very beginning. The first few chapters of the book of Genesis
tell us why we exist, and what is man’s ultimate potential. We are also taught
why man sins and comes short of the glory of God.
Adherance to Truth Equals Conversion
Edwin Pope | June 4, 2006
Christ tells us in John 18:37 that “Everyone who is of the truth
hears My voice.” That statement from the mouth of our Savior implies
that those who hear His voice respond to Christ’s words in a positive
manner. One who does not respond, positively, to Christ’s words is still of this world, which is Satan’s world.Every person called of God has been called to become converted from
the ways of this world to the ways of truth! The key to this conversion
is one’s response to the truths Jesus Christ proclaimed!
The Gift
Dave Harris | June 4, 2006
God’s greatest challenge is that of creating His own sons and daughters. It is His crowning work! Indeed, nothing is too hard for God, but God is doing difficult things–His work involves disappointment and sacrifice. In fulfilling His great master plan, God is calling some to be firstfruits and He has made available the gift of His Holy Spirit to those He is calling in this age.
A Most Excellent Gift
Brian Gale (United Kingdom) | June 4, 2006
One of the requirements of the Christian life – at its very core – is that of love. The day of Pentecost is a day that commemorates the giving of God’s Holy Spirit at the inception of the New Testament Church. The Holy Spirit has given us the unique knowledge and understanding of God’s way of life. With this vital and tremendous help, we can love God, our families, fellow church members and all other human beings.
Love of God – and fellow man – is a requirement of every true Christian and is – a most excellent gift.
The Life of Samson
Norbert Link | June 3, 2006
We all have heard of Samson and Delilah. Hollywood has had a field day with producing movies and TV shows, capitalizing on each imaginable or inventive aspect of “that” spicy episode. To blatantly falsify and rewrite Samson’s story is called “poetic ” or “dramaturgical” license. But what is the REAL story of Samson? What can his life teach us today? After all, the book of Hebrews strongly suggests that Samson will be in the First Resurrection–in spite of all his weaknesses and problems. But his ultimate fate does not annul the fact that Samson, because of his repeated failings, had to face many devastating physical consequences, and his physical life was not easy by any stretch of the imagination.

Truth – A Way of Life
Edwin Pope | May 27, 2006
The goal of being able to achieve truth as the standard whereby we live our daily lives is one of the most important aspects of our Christian Calling. God continually gives to us ability to grow in His Way as long as we remain faithful to Him and to His Truth – to His Way of life!

Deliver Us From Evil
Norbert Link | May 20, 2006
God does not only help us not to fall into temptation, but
He is also willing to deliver us, or free us from evil. What, exactly, is the
“evil” from which God needs to deliver us? This sermon will discuss the three
most important aspects of “evil,”of which we must be aware. These are our
enemies from which God will have to free us. And God has promised that He will
do so, when we ask Him and when we really want Him to.
Tithing Today
Norbert Link | May 20, 2006
Is tithing still mandatory for us today? How can we know? And what do all the different concepts mean, such as, First Tithe, Second Tithe, Third Tithe, Tithe of the Tithe, or Excess Second Tithe? How do we calculate Third Tithe, and when do we have to pay it?
This short message will explain.
Inherit the Promises Through Faith and Patience
Edwin Pope | May 13, 2006
God has called us for a special purpose. We are to develop our minds in order to be able to live our lives as Christ lived in the flesh – To think as Christ thought. In so doing, we will begin to develop within us the faith and patience of Jesus Christ. Through faith and patience we are to inherit the promises.

The Watchers
Dave Harris | May 6, 2006
Events of our future are already looming darkly on our horizon. Can we see, that is, are we watching for, what is ahead through the prophecies of God’s word? Who is ready for what is coming upon our world? Jesus Christ warns us of our time–the prophesied end of this age, and He explicitly and with all gravity tell us to watch and to be ready!
The Keys to Successful Prayers
Norbert Link | April 29, 2006
prayer. We are told to pray to God the Father, but many in this world don’t pray
at all. It may be because of indifference or because they don’t know why they
should pray; what to pray for; how to pray; or when to pray. What about us in
the Church? Do we pray by following a strict regiment? Do we pray the same
prayer over and over again, thinking that we will be heard because of our many
words? Do we only pray at certain times? How can we be sure that our prayers are
heard on high?
All Knowledge
Dave Harris | April 22, 2006
In our calling, we must choose the kind of knowledge we will have. Our challenge is to walk in the light of truth and not walk in darkness of evil. We are called upon to practice the truth in order to come to the light. Furthermore, the Church of God is to present the truth of God just as Jesus Christ did.
Is Overcoming a Priority For You?
Edwin Pope | April 19, 2006
God’s people today are a people called to overcome sin in their
lives! If one succeeds in this calling, God will give to him the gift
of eternal life as a member in the Family of God!One does not earn eternal life through this process of overcoming.
What one does earn should he fail in this endeavor to which he is
called, is what the Scripture refers to as the second death – eternal
death! This must never be our personal choice relative to our calling.
However, if we are successful in our calling through the power of God’s
Holy Spirit, God will give to us the gift of eternal life!Another very important thing one is able to earn, should he be
successful in His calling of God during this lifetime, is a position of
rulership in the coming Kingdom of God!

The First Day
Dave Harris | April 13, 2006
A very important aspect of keeping God’s commanded Holy Days is to understand the meaning behind them. They outline the great master plan of God, and we find in them the message of our salvation and the promise of eternal life in the Kingdom of God. For Christians, the observance of this first day of the seven day Feast of Unleavened Bread pictures our deliverance out of the spiritual slavery of sin.
Self Examination
Rene Messier (Canada) | April 13, 2006
The process of self examination is not a static but rather continuous process realigning our thinking and actions to the mind of Christ as we follow his example as laid out in scripture and His personal example in the gospels, using the fruit of the Spirit as the criteria.
As We Examine Ourselves
Edwin Pope | April 8, 2006
We are approaching the time for two of God’s annual festivals: The Passover and The Days of Unleavened Bread. As with the weekly Sabbath, there is a time established for preparation of these two festivals. And we must prepare, physically and spiritually, for each of these two.
The Passover is observed in the evening of the 14th day of the first month, which according to God’s calendar is Nisan or Abib. Passover is a one day festival. The festival God refers to as The Days of Unleavened Bread is a seven day festival, which begins at sunset as the 15th day of the first month (Nisan or Abib) begins. Each of these two festivals is significant in God’s overall Plan.
God requires as a part of the spiritual preparation for Passover that we “examine ourselves.” His concern has to do with our overall attitude in taking the Passover that we not eat of it in an “unworthy” manner. The command then is that we “examine ourselves” and that we “eat” the Passover.

Eternal Death
Dave Harris | March 25, 2006
Mankind has a choice to make. That choice will lead to either eternal life or eternal death. The awful reality is that some both have and will choose to disobey God and bring upon themselves destruction in the lake of fire. We need to understand the kind of choice we are making!
