Your Body Is the Temple
Eric Rank | October 23, 2021
There is a lot of focus on spiritual development for Christians. Yet the Bible also acknowledges that we are made of flesh and blood, bound in physical bodies. In this state of being, what is our responsibility for maintaining our physical health according to the teaching of the Bible?
Overcoming is a Choice!
Dave Harris | October 23, 2021
We are commanded to choose life, and that means that we must choose to do what God commands. That is how we are to overcome evil.
The Canadian Dictatorship–Comments on News and Prophecy, October 16, 2021
Norbert Link | October 16, 2021
In this presentation, we cover the ongoing dictatorial persecution of Christian churches and their pastors, including Polish-Canadian Pastor Artur Pawlowski. In other news, we discuss the (temporary?) resignation of Sebastian Kurz as Austria’s chancellor; the despicable abominations within the Catholic church; and attempts to silence opponents of corona vaccination mandates and marines who criticize top military leaders over their incompetent handling of the Afghanistan debacle. We also address troublesome developments in Europe and especially in Germany.
Being Made Perfect Through Sufferings
Norbert Link | October 16, 2021
Is suffering always the consequence of sin? Or might there be other reasons? Rather than focusing on suffering as punishment for sin, we will focus in this sermon on sufferings as God’s means to make us perfect and complete.
Meekness – What Is It?
Kalon Mitchell | October 9, 2021
Meekness is used in the Bible to describe Christians. But what exactly does it mean to be meek? How does the attribute affect us? What are the implications of using meekness in our lives?
Who are the two Witnesses?
Norbert Link | October 9, 2021
There are many ideas as to who the two witnesses are who are mentioned in the Book of Revelation. There are those today who claim these offices already for themselves. Does the Bible give us hints as to what to look for, and how to separate truth from error?
Settling for Mediocrity
Kalon Mitchell | October 2, 2021
Where in our lives do we just settle for what ever is easiest? Where do we need to look for change? Does the Bible say anything about just doing the least to get by?
The Fall of Jerusalem
Norbert Link | October 2, 2021
The book of Lamentations describes in vivid and shocking detail the fall of ancient and modern Jerusalem and shows why it did and will happen. Further, Jeremiah’s prophecy and his alarming warnings are by no means limited to the city of Jerusalem.
Conquer With God’s Holy Spirit
Kalon Mitchell | September 28, 2021
We receive God’s Holy Spirit at baptism. But this Spirit is supposed to grow within us as we become stronger in God’s Faith. How is this accomplished? Is it really that important to do so? What happens when we grow in the use of the Holy Spirit within our lives?
Reunions (Given in Germany)
Brian Gale (United Kingdom) | September 28, 2021
On the Last Great Day, we learn about what will happen in the Great White Throne Judgment. After 1,000 years of living without Satan’s ugly and evil influence, conditions will have increased way beyond anything that mankind could have expected. Although Satan will be released, it will only be for a short time before he and his demons are removed forever, and this message shows that there will be billions, maybe trillions, of reunions in the Kingdom of God, as everyone will have multiple reunions with so many different people.
Right Now!
Michael Link | September 28, 2021
We have learned a lot from the past and we know what the future holds. But what do we need to do right now so we can be prepared for what is coming?
Eternal Judgement
Norbert Link | September 28, 2021
The concept of eternal judgment is a fundamental biblical doctrine. It is so important because it applies to all men. Everyone, including true Christians, will be judged after they die. But when exactly will that judgment take place; who will judge; and what is meant with “eternal” judgment or the “day of judgment”?
Finding Courage in Crisis
Frank Bruno | September 27, 2021
Most of us believe or hope that if confronted with the choice of good and evil, we will choose to be on God’s side. There are times in life, and especially during times of stress, threat, and crisis, that the choice may not be about us—but about those we care about or have responsibility for. There might also be the temptation to compromise. The Bible shows us how to have courage to do what is required to follow God.
Lessons from fhe Book of Jonah
Norbert Link | September 27, 2021
Why is the book of Jonah placed in the middle of the minor prophets? Does it have any prophetic relevance for us today? Why did Jonah try to get away from the “presence of the Lord”? Was Jonah really swallowed up by a big fish? In what way did this incident mirror Christ’s death and burial? Why did Jonah hope that Nineveh would still be destroyed? Does the Church of God have a commission today regarding modern Assyria?
Fear of the Lord
Kalon Mitchell | September 26, 2021
What does it mean to have fear of God? How does this work in our lives? How do fear and love work in a Christian context?
Improved Economic Conditions Just Ahead (Given in Germany)
Brian Gale (United Kingdom) | September 26, 2021
Governments in the world today all govern with varying degrees of success. But none of them have the answer to all of the economic problems that beset every nation on the face of the earth. But we have a bright future – let us all make sure that we make it into God’s Kingdom, and then, we will be part of the government that will have all of the answers, as we help and serve in a world where there will be abundance for everyone.
The Future of Nations
Dave Harris | September 26, 2021
God has created races and nations for a purpose. He has not turned His back on His creation; rather, He is actively guiding events even now, so that His plan will be completed.
Compromise
Rene Messier (Canada) | September 25, 2021
What are the destructive results of allowing compromise, and why is it important to recognize and deal with it?
