Due to its recent history, Germany had been anxious to portray itself as a strong supporter of Israel. But not any longer. The German government has joined the chorus of condemnatory and accusatory voices against Israel. It began with Germany’s support of a fictitious two-state solution and an inaccurate portrayal of the Gaza tragedy; and has now reached its climax in Chancellor Merz’s controversial announcement that Germany would no longer export military equipment to Israel that could be used in Gaza. What does the Bible say about Israel and all those nations which are ganging up against it?

Why the contradictory opinions? What exactly was agreed to? Did Trump “eat von der Leyen for breakfast”? Did she “sell out and betray the Europeans”? Will the deal bring the EU and the USA closer together or damage the relationship even further? What are the consequences for Europe? Will the deal negatively affect US customers?

Why do we in God’s Church refuse to vote in governmental elections, to join the military and to fight in war? The answer is simple, and it has to do with the lies with which we are bombarded on a daily basis. Do you recognize those lies in their many different forms? According to the Justice Department and the FBI, sex offender Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide, and no client list exists. This announcement was met with incredulity and outright rejection. What are the reasons that so many feel a gigantic coverup is being perpetrated to protect hundreds of prominent pedophiles who raped thousands of underage girls?

America is celebrating the 4^th of July, which is supposed to stand for independence from a monarch and which should remind us of liberty, freedom, equality and justice for all. But is this the America of today, especially when considering its immigration policies? This program discusses in detail alarming developments which have consequences for each and every one of us.

The USA is no longer united, but divided as never before in its recent history. Some have already spoken about the end of America. Why is this the case? The long-awaited meeting between German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and Donald Trump has happened in the Oval Office. Merz had been encouraged not to appear as “supplicant,” but to stand up to Trump. However, most critical topics were not discussed, and Trump did most of the talking. But the Ukraine-Russia war was addressed, and in that respect, one could see disagreements between the two leaders. One comment by Trump stands out which, in the light of biblical prophecy, was of parament importance. 

Hatred for the State of Israel and the Jews in general is spreading. Now, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has also attacked Israel “more harshly than any German Chancellor before him.” But some believe his criticism was unbalanced, hurtful, and disappointing. Why is this so? And what should we make of the international “lying press” that demonizes Israel and stirs up anti-Semitism?

We are told that Pope Leo XIV has become the most important American in the world. We are also confronted with his declaration that unity among Christians can only be unity in faith. In saying this, he referred to the 1,700^th anniversary of the Council of Nicea. What was that council; what did it decide; and what were the consequences for those who did not agree with that decision? Could something similar happen again in the future?

Is Pope Leo XIV up to the task? What does he stand for? Why is the possible reintroduction of the Latin Mass a big thing for Catholics? Why the name Leo? This program examines some of his predecessors with the name Leo, which might lead to some astonishing parallels.

Germany’s classification of the AfD as a “right-wing extremist party” by the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution has been sharply criticized by the US government. Many voices in Germany and Austria are also criticizing the decision, calling it a political maneuver, an attack on freedom of expression, and a serious state crisis of civil rights. This puts Chancellor Friedrich Merz under pressure. The AfD can only benefit from all of this, especially given the weak coalition of the CDU/CSU and the SPD.

WHY is Trump’s peace plan for the Russian-Ukrainian war a complete failure? WHY was it doomed from the start? And WHY should this have been obvious to all involved if only they had understood and heeded biblical prophecies? And regardless of the Bible, WHY should the failure of the peace plan have been recognized if more weight had been given to recent history and the statements of those involved?

Pope Francis aroused much anger and fury within the Catholic Church, dividing the Church between the “reform-oriented group” and the “traditionalists.” This program addresses the main disputes and wonders what position the next pope will adopt. Will Putin agree to a ceasefire and perhaps even to the end of the war between Russia and Ukraine? Many doubt this. Still, the end of that war will come, but not now; not in ways most expect or anticipate; and not due to “negotiations” between Trump and Putin. What does this all mean for YOU?
