Communicating With Our God

Edwin Pope | October 29, 2005

Christ understood the correct way to draw close to God and to call upon His Power to help in every need. The prayer of our Lord, recorded in Matthew 6:5-13, brings out most of the points we should remember as we come before God in prayer and supplications to Him.

The Resurrections

Norbert Link | October 25, 2005

What happens to man after death? Will man’s “immortal soul” go to heaven or hell, when man dies? Will it stay in limbo or purgatory? Will it be reborn in a cycle of reincarnations? The Bible teaches consistently that man’s soul is mortal; and that man’s only hope for life after death is through a resurrection from the dead. But the Bible also teaches that not everyone will be brought back to life at the same time, or in the same resurrection. The Last Great Day teaches us the important truth of the resurrections of the Bible.

Prepare for Leadership

Brian Gale (United Kingdom) | October 25, 2005

Today, real
leaders are in short supply.
But God is not going to be caught short-staffed.   He is not planning on down-sizing
the ranks of His royal priesthood in the coming reality of His Kingdom.   If we now prepare wisely and
carefully, we will be glad that we did. – and so will those who will need our
leadership skills in the future!
By diligently preparing now to become an effective leader, we will be
fully prepared to answer the call when the final trumpet is blown – summoning
those whom God has called and trained to lead the world in His ways in the
wonderful world tomorrow.

The Mysteries of the Bible

Norbert Link | October 22, 2005

The Bible contains many mysteries. Only those who have received special knowledge from God can understand these mysteries. The world at large does not comprehend God’s Word, as it has not been given the vital keys to unlock the mysteries of the Bible. However, it is critical for God’s people to understand and treasure these mysteries, as they reveal to us the entire plan and purpose of God’s Will for man. In this sermon, we will discuss fourteen mysteries, which are mentioned in God’s Word.

Contact With God

Dave Harris | October 21, 2005

As emissaries of the Kingdom of God, we have a means of contact — and that with God Himself! That contact is prayer, and we need to come to a deeper understanding of the role of prayer in our calling; in our development as Christians; and in our representation of God’s government.

Blessings

Robb Harris | October 20, 2005

“We live in a country full of blessings – Blessings given to us by God. Bet WE have been given an even greater blessing: God’s Holy Spirit. Are we using it to it’s fullest potential? Or, like the modern descendants of Israel, have we forgotten who we are and why we are here?
We must proactively seek to please God, not just reactively, in order to keep our blessings (both physical and spiritual) alive”

The Many Voices of God!

Edwin Pope | October 19, 2005

In Hebrews 3:7 and in Psalms 95:7 we read, “Today, if you will hear My voice, Do not harden your hearts…” God speaks to us in numerous ways; yet the Scripture tell us in John 5:37 that no man at that time had ever heard to voice of God nor seen His form! Do we, today, hear God’s voice and understand His purpose such that we can truly follow in His Way?

The Kingdoms

Dave Harris | October 18, 2005

We now picture the time of transition from man’s government under the sway of Satan to the intervention in this earth’s affairs and the establishment of the Kingdom of God. This is the fulfillment of the gospel–the good news of the Kingdom of God! The Bible records the record of the kingdoms that have ruled on this earth–kingdoms that have failed! The Word of God also reveals the certainty of a new time of world peace governed by Jesus Christ and the saints of God.

When I Rule the World

Norbert Link | October 18, 2005

How would you rule the world–or a city–if you were in total charge; if you did not have to worry about how to be reelected; if your authority and approval came only from God; if Satan would not be able to deceive your citizens? How would you teach God’s way of life? What methods would you use? How would you judge–based on what standards? How would you deal with your employees? What kind of employees would you want to have? How would you build and design your city? What laws would you apply? Join us on a trip into the not-too-distant future–when you might very well placed in a position to rule a city.

Thy Kingdom Come

Brian Gale (United Kingdom) | October 18, 2005

The world has nothing to offer in comparison to the Kingdom of God and an
integral part of a Christian’s life is to pray for the Kingdom to come. We
should yearn for this momentous event which will usher in a time that true
believers have longed for down through the ages – a time when death has been
vanquished, every tear has been wiped away, there is no night, and that the sum
total of human misery will have been eradicated.   This sermon looks at several
different points which should focus our minds on what should be of utmost
important to us.

Rejoice

Brian Gale (United Kingdom) | October 17, 2005

We are commanded to rejoice at the annual Feast
of Tabernacles.   This is a
time to recharge our spiritual batteries and that must surely be helped when we
are surrounded by those of a like mind.   It’s a time to be together, to be
taught, to fellowship and to rejoice.   The Feast is a great opportunity
our great God gives us, in which many can strengthen relationships and where we
can develop family ties with our spiritual brethren.   The Feast is a foretaste of
sharing eternity together as glorified members of the very family of God.   Rejoice and make the best of this
wonderful opportunity.
